Agreement

By accessing or using NewsRank (newsrank.ai and associated mobile applications), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

NewsRank is a news intelligence platform that uses AI to monitor, cluster, rank, and summarize news content from third-party sources. We do not produce original journalism. All source articles remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers.

Accounts

You may create an account to access personalized features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and must not create accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

Subscriptions and Payments

NewsRank offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe (web) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to the respective platform's refund policy.

API Usage

Developer API access is subject to rate limits and monthly credit quotas based on your subscription tier. Exceeding quotas may result in throttling. API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly. Abuse of the API (scraping, redistribution, DDoS) may result in immediate termination.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content beyond API rate limits
• Redistribute NewsRank content as your own
• Attempt to interfere with the service's infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits

Intellectual Property

NewsRank's algorithms, user interface, branding, and AI-generated summaries are our intellectual property. Source articles, headlines, and images remain the property of their original publishers and are displayed under fair use principles for news reporting and commentary.

Disclaimer

NewsRank provides news intelligence as-is. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Always refer to original source articles for definitive reporting.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NewsRank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard settings.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
