This faster turnaround is significant for approximately 11.4 million taxpayers who file annual returns, enhancing liquidity and tax system efficiency. Moving forward, the SAT will distinguish processing times based on whether declarations are amended, and no advantage will be given for early filings, streamlining expectations for taxpayers.
