King Charles III officially inaugurated the 2,700-mile England Coast Path, establishing the longest coastal walking route globally. About 80% of the trail is now accessible, significantly expanding public access to England's varied coastal environments. Going forward, the path will integrate with existing routes in Wales and Scotland, creating over 4,000 miles of UK coastal trails and enhancing outdoor recreation and environmental engagement.
