Mexican authorities have detained nine members of the Gulf Cartel, including 'El Lexus', a leader linked to the Grupo Escorpión, in Tamaulipas and Matamoros. These arrests come as part of ongoing efforts to weaken cartel leadership and disrupt their operations in northeastern Mexico.
