PLUS Malaysia Berhad is managing heavy highway traffic expected to peak until late tonight with daily vehicles exceeding two million amidst Aidilfitri travel. Concurrently, the Malaysian Highway Authority has deployed 12 Emergency Response Teams and activated 873 CCTV cameras to monitor the surging traffic anticipated to reach 3.5 million vehicles daily. These coordinated efforts include real-time updates and smart infrastructure activation, aiming to enhance safety and traffic flow during the peak festive period.
