Sedena

Sedena, short for Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, is the Mexican government's executive department responsible for commanding the army and air force. It is best known for leading national defense, internal security operations, disaster response, and civil–military coordination. It remains central in public discourse due to its role in confronting organized crime, human rights concerns, and debates over security policy and military reform.
