McKale Center

The McKale Center is a collegiate athletic and event arena on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, Arizona. It is best known as the home of the Arizona Wildcats men’s and women’s basketball teams and as a multipurpose venue for concerts and other events, having opened in 1973 and named for longtime UA athletic director J. Fred McKale. It remains relevant in current news as a site for major university sporting events, campus gatherings, and discussions about facility renovations or funding.
